The stage of junior middle school is the key period that students form a good study habit, lay a solid foundation, have strong and stable development of English knowledge and the high-speed development period that students set up confidence of learning. Students will show enthusiasm to English study and preliminary self-confidence, show a greater confidence in English learning and have a clear learning motivation and active and initiative attitude towards learning, thus, by cultivating interest in learning English, it is the top task of the current junior middle
school English teaching that teachers make the students have a correct understanding of themselves, highlight their confidence, develop themselves.
II. Interest in Learning
2.1 Learning interest
Learning interest of students is a tendency demonstrated based on their own learning needs, which is always accompanied by a good emotional experience .That is a kind of inner power of motivating students to seek knowledge.
If students are interested in a particular subject, they will lastly concentrate on studying it in order to improve learning effect. That is to say, interest in learning is a kind of tendency of understanding with a strong emotional color, which practically shows the degree how students like something and how students dislike something.
Students who have a keen interest, usually concentrate, full attention, spirits, relish to learn, and often reach the point of sleepless nights once they have succeed or achieved certain results, students will derive great satisfaction, feeling pleasant experience, which contribute to deepen and enrich the learning interest and generate new learning needs, students will take a more positive attitude towards learning and learning behavior. As we know, motivation is the cause that all of the things can be done. Then learning interest is the most realistic and active ingredient in learning motivation, it makes learning activities become positive, conscious, active, and happy, then good learning effect can be gained. Therefore, interest in learning is the most practical force or internal motivation to promote students’ learning activities
