    摘要随着外语教学的发展和新课改的进行,小学英语教学越来越受到重视。然而,目前我国小学英语课堂教学效率并不高。本文在分析小学生性格特点和小学英语教学现状的基础上,提出了提高小学英语课堂教学效率的有效策略,如提高教师自身素质;发挥学生主体作用;运用情景教学法;合理运用多媒体技术和教学评价多样化等,以期有助于提高小学英语教学水平,为基础英语教学改革做出一定的贡献。48823

       Abstract With the development of foreign language teaching and the reform of the new curriculum, the primary school English teaching has been paid more and more attention. However, the efficiency of primary school English Teaching in China is still unsatisfactory. Based on the analysis of pupils’ characteristics and the status quo of English classroom teaching in primary schools, the paper proposed some effective strategies to improve the efficiency of primary school English classroom teaching, such as improving teachers’ quality, using situational teaching method, rationally using multimedia technology, establishing students’ principal role and persified evaluation of learning effect, so as to enhance the level of primary school English teaching and to some extent promote the elementary English teaching reform.

    With the rapid development of globalization, the English language has become a very important communication tool. China has already proposed to popularize English teaching in primary schools in the early 21st century, but the status quo of English classroom teaching in primary schools is not satisfying. How to improve the efficiency of the English teaching has become the priority among priorities in today’s English teaching activities.
