    In the English teaching, the teachers’ speech act is consistent with the teaching content, and is suitable for students’ psychology and physiological characteristics of the present. The teacher should bring the students more knowledge through a variety of methods, through usage of the direct speech act and indirect speech act to stimulate students’ interest in learning. In the meantime, teachers also can present some important plots with the classic film to teach students to learn contents. In addition, teacher should adjust teaching way through teacher speech acts timely, avoid making the students have tired psychology and lose their confidence on English learning. Therefore, teachers’ speech act study in English classroom guiding by speech act theory can contribute to the optimization of English teachers’ speech acts, and improve the quality of English class efficiency. Therefore, the following part of this thesis will analyze the teacher talk on the basis of speech act theory one by one, which will regard teacher talk of English class in middle school as the example.
