    摘要随着社会生活的信息化和经济的全球化,英语的重要性日益突出。我国的英语教育规模不断扩大,教学也取得显著成绩,然而仍然存在许多问题。本文通过分析文献资料,首先从对学习风格的相关概念进行界定;其次,分析目前我国中学英语教学现状及中学英语教学面临的问题;最后,在学习风格理论下,从三方面提出了初中英语合理的教学方法,对提高初中的英语教学水平有着非常重要的意义。39389

    Abstract With the development of social information and globalization of the economy, English is becoming more and more important. The scale of China’s English education has expanded increasingly and education teaching has made remarkable achievements. However, there are many problems. This paper uses methods of documentation to write. Firstly it organizes and analyzes the factors that influence learning style formation. Secondly, it is mainly about the situation of junior middle school English teaching in China and discovers the problems of learning style theory. Finally, under the theory of learning style, this paper will give the proper way of teaching from three aspects in junior middle school, which is great significance to use learning style theory to improve the level of English teaching in primary school.

    On the Application of Learning Style Theory to the English Teaching in Junior Middle School
    I. Introduction

    Middle school English teaching in China is the general education, the researchers argue that many students spend more time on learning and teachers spend more time on teaching, but the effect of learning is not high. Since the 1960s, western humanist education theory has applied into teaching and the focus of teaching have been transferring from the teachers “teaching” to the students “learning”. The learning styles have become one of the research hot topics for junior middle school English teachers and education researchers. With the information of social life and globalization of the economy, the importance of English is more and more prominent. English, as one of the most important information carries, has become the most widely used language in the various fields. Many countries regard English education as an important part of citizen quality education in basic education development strategy, and put it in a prominent position. Since the reform and open, the scale of China’s English education has expanded increasingly and education teaching has made remarkable achievements. However, the current situation of English education can’t meet the needs of China’s economic construction and social development, and there is a gap among requirement s of time development.
