    Abstract In order to adapt to the needs of China’s economic construction and development, our English education can’t stay in the stage of the acquisition of knowledge only. It is more important to cultivate students’ ability of using language. This requires the teacher to take the task-based approach. However, in the process of carrying out task-based teaching method, it is quite easy to find that our country’s teachers have not accepted some course of task-based teaching method, and the method hasn’t been applied widely. To our relief, our domestic scholars are learning the foreign theories and they try to combine the theories with the condition of our country positively, and they hope that they can work out the suitable task-based teaching method, so that students can experience and use English in real life and the real language environment.49275

     In this essay, the primary school students are the research object. The study points out the change of the teaching model. Through describing the definition of task-based teaching method in primary English teaching, this paper discusses tasks design in task-based teaching, analyzes the principles of task-based teaching method,   and puts forwards some immature suggestions about the task-based teaching method currently.

    摘要为适应我国经济建设与发展的需求,我们的英语教育不能仅仅停留在知识的习得上,更重要的是注重培养学生语言运用能力。这就要求教师多采取任务型的教学方法进行教学。然而在贯彻任务型教学法的教学的同时,由于我国没有对教师进行系统的培训,任务型教学法的应用范围不是很广。令人欣慰的是,我国学者正在努力地学习国外的理论并积极地将这些理论和我国国情相结合,希望能研究出适合我国小学生的任务型教学模式,使学生在现实生活这个真实的语言环境下体会和运用英语。

    本文就以小学生为研究对象,研究指向小学英语教学模式的改变,重点阐述了在小学英语教学中任务型教学法的内涵,任务型教学中任务的设计,任务型教学的实施原则并对目前的教学模式的不足之处提出了拙见。

    Chapter One  Introduction

    1.1 Background

    In order to adapt to the needs of China’s economic construction and development, we formulated new curriculum according to the curriculum standard. New curriculum emphasizes the English course must develop the abilities of students’ language skills comprehensively and practice their own knowledge and skills under the guidance of teachers, so as to improve the application ability of their actual language, and at the same time, teachers should avoid the teaching method of teaching language knowledge unilaterally, and teachers should adopt the tasked-based language teaching approach as far as possible, making the students achieve the goals of the missions and feel the success under the teacher’s guidance and through the perception, experience, practice, participation and cooperation or other means. (National English Curriculum Standard )
