         The previous literatures are good attempts to study what are cooperative learning and personality and the relation between them. Nevertheless, little attention was paid to develop the efficiency of Cooperative Learning under personality differences. In the thesis, the author discusses the problems that exist in today’s English teaching class and how to improve the competence of both inpiduals and groups with different personalities. Both teachers and students should be given some suggestions in order to improve students’ competence of study and teachers’ competence of teaching. The teacher performs Cooperative Learning by piding students into various groups according to their personalities. This paper aims to find out whether inpiduals who have different personalities can succeed in English Cooperative Learning Class.
