    摘 要当前教育改革的核心问题就是教学从老师为中心转向以学生为中心,培养学生自学学习的能力,并且为学生提供一个轻松的学习环境。为此,作者提倡将合作学习方法应运于高中写作教学中,有利于提高学生的英语写作水平和同学间互相合作的能力,同时有利于提高课堂效率,融洽课堂氛围,充分发挥学生在课堂中的主体作用。本篇论文在探讨当前高中英语写作教学的现状,以及研究合作学习理论的基础上,着重阐述了合作学习在英语写作教学中的应用。9790

    Abstract
    One of the most outstanding features of the current educational reform is to change the traditional teacher-centered teaching model into student-centered learning in classroom. It is vital for the teacher to actively encourage students to think about their own learning and make the classes enjoyable. Therefore, the author suggests that Cooperative Learning be applied to the English writing class in a Senior High School, which will be helpful to improve students’ writing ability and the capability to cooperate with each other. Meanwhile, it can enhance the efficiency of the classroom and students can get along with each other and students will play the principal role during the class. This paper is based on the current situation of English writing in senior middle school and the theory of cooperative learning, paying more attention to the application of cooperative learning in English writing.

    I. Introduction

    In China, the traditional English teaching model is spoon-feeding, the teacher lectured on words, phrases and grammar points while the students repeating, reciting. During the class, the students memorize alone and after class they also finish their assignments alone. Under this model, the students just learn how to compete with other students rather than cooperating. Mark ranks turn learning into a cruel competition and students have to fight for the front row. Such kind of learning model often cultivates a series of eggheads who don’t know anything else but pursing full credit. The traditional teaching method mocks the needs of the majority of students. So the reformation of teaching method is a matter of great urgency. We should transform process from the learning process from humdrum to pertive, passive to initiative, lonely to cooperative.  
    Cooperative learning is an advanced model of teaching, which is the most successful teaching reform in the dozens of years. It develops the students’ ability, and the great attention has been paid to communicative competence as well as cognitive quality. Students learn to share their brainstorm with other people. And in this model both teachers and students are equal in learning process, which means the roles they play have turned back to a kind of partners during learning. The teacher work as guidance that help the students solve the problems they meet during study. The teacher are not authority of knowledge any longer that students can question and think by themselves. What’s more, the cooperative learning asks for the progress of the students rather than full marks. So every student can get appreciation as long as he has tried his best. The cooperative learning makes the students more confident, helps them set up interest of English and teachers them how to cooperate with others.
