    Sandwich teaching method is a kind of feasible teaching method, which according to the kids’ nature, teacher combines English with our native language and explains the words, phrases and sentences with the development of the story, and then accomplish teaching tasks and teaching aims in a relaxed environment. Sandwich teaching method plays a significant role in English teaching, especially in primary education. Mother tongue mixed with English teaching can not only reduce children's psychological pressure, but also encourage children to actively participate in classroom teaching activities.
    Thus, the purpose of this study is to reveal the influence of the sandwich teaching method in primary school English teaching and promote sandwich teaching method widely used in English class at elementary education stage. As a result, the children can remember the words during listening to stories and also can produce a very better memory effect. Moreover, the teacher can attract children firmly and give full play to children’s imagination and creativity by the graphic performance. In addition, Sandwich teaching method can encourage students to participate in classroom teaching activities and arouse students’ interest in learning English.
