     Abstract
    Percy Bysshe Shelley is a great poet in the age of Romance. Shelly’s poetry has exerted significance upon the Chinese people. Among Shelly’s numerous poems, his masterpiece, Ode to the West Wind, composed in 1819, is the most well received, which encourages generations of Chinese. More studies are done from the perspective of literature, rather than the perspective of translation. In fact, the consummate form of the poem challenges the translators and is worth translation studies. This thesis tends to study poetry translation with a comparative analysis of three Chinese versions of Shelly’s Ode to the West Wind depending on Rewriting Theory.
    Both qualitative and quantitative approaches will find application in this Thesis. A target-oriented descriptive study of the various translation versions will be adopted in this paper. Through the description and analysis of the general translation practice of English and the ideologies and poetics of China, it attempts to analyze the relationship between Chinese translation with ideology and poetics. This research will take the language of the three Chinese versions as a case study and all the evidence will be chosen from the three Chinese versions.
    To be specific, during the course of translation, the ideology and poetics will exert influence upon the translator’s adoption of certain translation strategies to some extent. The style of rendition has the delicate relationship with both ideology and poetics, which should be highlighted in poetry translation and will stimulate more researchers to view the translation phenomenon from the perspective of Rewriting Theory. We should break through the traditional evaluation model and put the translation in the big inquiry of cultural background, so that the value of each version exists and poetry translation in the cross-cultural communication activities plays its proper role.

    摘要 珀西•比希•雪莱是浪漫主义时代一个伟大的诗人。雪莱的诗对于中国人民影响深远。在雪莱的无数的诗歌中,创于1819年的巨作《西风颂》最受好评,它鼓励了一代又一代的中国人。在对其众多的研究中,更多的是从文学的角度,而不是从翻译的角度。事实上,这首诗完美的形式翻译很值得研究。本文试将《西风颂》的三中文译本进行比较,研究翻译中的改写理论在诗歌翻译中的作用。
    本文应用定性和定量方法,面向《西风颂》的不同翻译版本进行描述性研究。本文基于的有效性和实用性原则,主要采用案例研究的方法进行研究。通过描述和分析,分析翻译中的意识形态和诗学概念,试图揭开翻译与意识形态和诗学之间的关系。
    具体而言,在翻译的过程中,意识形态和诗学将施加影响翻译的有一定程度的翻译策略的采用。诗歌的风格与意识形态和诗学有着微妙的关系,应当激发更多的研究人员从改写理论的角度查看翻译现象。我们在翻译研究和审查过程中,应该突破传统的评价模型,对译者的文化背景进行调查,而后进行翻译。每个翻译版本都有其价值存在,诗歌翻译在跨文化交际活动中发挥着很大的作用。
